Carry any new footwear, let alone stilettos. Don’t be too confident about your walking-in heels skills.
You must be careful when deciding between having fun and dressing up like a cabaret crew member.
Be blingy but not too much
Brighten up your day with bold or vibrant colours
While you might spend your nights at a casino or club, there is much more to do during the day. There is so much going on that 24 hours isn’t enough. If you don’t plan on staying at your hotel for the entire day, grab some bright or vividly coloured dresses and go. Bright colours can include accessories, shoes and layers, or even sunglasses. This fits the Vegas bill.
Playsuits and Rompers – They Come A Long Way
Vegas is the place where you will never feel underdressed. There are no rules. You can be on one side or the other. People can wear pyjamas, flip-flops and yoga pants throughout the day. Some places have dress codes, so be comfortable and wear rompers or playsuits. It doesn’t matter how hard you try to fit in, but it is important to find the sweet spot.
The LBD, Asymmetrical or Velvet Dress
You will not need just one dress per day in Vegas due to the heat. You should bring your best party dresses to the bar or casino. It’s fascinating to wear a velvet dress to nightclubs and match it to the atmosphere and grandeur of the venue. You can also opt for a stylish asymmetrical style with pumps and a bold body bag. You might be like me, and you’re a fickle thinker. If so, keep your classic bodycon LBD in your bag. It never goes out of fashion and is handy.
Stock up on the Fancy Swimsuits
Relax by the pool if you don’t feel like getting out on the streets. Remember that everything in Vegas happens in style. You can jump in or enjoy a frozen cocktail by the poolside while wearing your best swimsuit. Don’t be shy, and no one will judge you for what you wear.
Accessorize – To your Heart’s Content
You can party in a large rhinestone clutch or body jewellery, as well as finger rings, body jewellery, neck pieces, finger rings, and statement neck pieces. You can also “dress up“ with a fedora hat or reflector during the day.
Footwear – Comfortable and Kickass
Your Vegas experience can be made or broken by your footwear. Wear shoes/sandals that you’ve tried before. Comfortable shoes are essential for enjoying the Vegas Strip. You can’t just strut your stuff in six-inch shoes all day. It’s not worth it. Flats, gladiators and flip-flops are all options. I was given the best piece of advice by someone who said to me, “Carry a change of clothes once you’re indoors.”
Makeup – Vibrant and On-Point
There is plenty of room for our crazy in Vegas. But, it doesn’t mean you have to. Make sure your makeup is vibrant and stands out. You can experiment with unusual lipstick colours. There is a fine line between being original and being too extravagant.
